Join us for the adventure of a lifetime! Explore the city of
Cuzco, Peru, the ancient capital of the Inca Empire. Journey into the
Sacred Valley of the Incas, where we'll study the Inca culture, learn about
the history of the Spanish Conquest, and bargain for traditional Peruvian Llama and alpaca
textiles. Then the real excitement begins as we trek the Inca Trail for 4 days and 3
nights, over original Inca stonework winding through majestic mountain passes and
spectacular cloud forest as we follow the trail of the original Inca pilgrimage to Machu
Picchu. Our porters will carry our gear and prepare hearty, healthful meals, leaving
us free to enjoy the incredible vistas of glaciate peaks topping 20,000 feet. At the
"Lost City of the Incas," our guides will lead us on an unforgettable adventure
through the ruins and instruct us on the archaeology and natural history of this most
mysterious and magical place. To conclude our tour, we'll visit Lima, where we'll
view Inca mummies and Inca artifacts at the world famous Gold Museum.
